Applications will not be accepted after Feb 15, 2026. Reno Street Food will notify applicant via email that they have been selected to participate by March 1, 2026. The email will include a vendor agreement. Applicant shall have until (March 15, 2026 by 5:00 PM) to confirm its acceptance by executing and returning the vendor agreement.
Completing the application does not guarantee a spot in Reno Street Food. This document is an application only, not an agreement to vend. Dates chosen by applicant business on this application do not constitute contractual obligation by Reno Street Food and applicant until dates are confirmed and agreed upon by both the applicant and Reno Street Food through a properly executed vendor agreement (separate document, not attached). A vendor agreement will be sent to you by March 1, 2026 if your application is accepted. Applicants may or may not get accepted and may or may not receive all the dates selected.
We are accepting applications for food/dessert/non-alcohol drink vendors only until Feb 15, 2026. No prepackaged food accepted unless approved by ownership. We are a unique food event and priority given to vendors with food made on site. No non-food vendors accepted. No non-food product sales accepted. No fundraising accepted. Priority consideration of an applicant to become a vendor will consist of whether the business is a full time food, dessert or non-alcohol mobile food operation and those businesses that represent themselves professionally with a proffessional email, web site, social media Facebook fans over 500 and Instagram followers over 500, feature a product high in demand and exemplify the quality, artisanship, customer service, speed of service and gourmet food experience guests have come to expect from a Reno Street Food event. Acceptence only if all required documents noted on page 4 are received by February 15 deadline. We are a high-volume high quality customer expectation food sales event. Selling out of food, long lines and 30 minute wait times for food is unacceptable and not a moment of pride or success. You are in the food preparation, cooking and sales business. Your revenue is directly equal to your service, product, total sales and customer experience…if this doesn’t work, please do not apply.
Application fee: $100. Application fee is non-refundable. Application fee is required per application/per space requested (includes all locations). The application fee is for administrative costs and does not apply toward vendor space. Payments for enrolled events will be billed Mondays in advance of each event date.
Requirements to Participate in Reno Street Food Events:
- $1,000,000 Certificate of General Liability Insurance with Additional Insured. This exact verbiage must be on the certificate: “Reno Street Food, City of Reno, County of Washoe, its officers, employees and agents” or will not be accepted. Address to give your insurance agent for Additional Insured COI: 18124 Wedge Pkwy #990, Reno, NV 89511. Required by May 15th in order to participate.
- City of Reno Business License: City of Reno business License required. If your business does not have a City of Reno business license, the per event date temp permit fee is $25 and will be charged to you. City of Reno Muni Code– Sec. 5.13.150. – Authorized event vendors
- County of Washoe Business license (if applying for Thursday-North Valleys Regional Park)
- State of NV Sales Tax Permit from the Department of Taxation
- Washoe County Health District Health Permit to Operate/ Temp permit for pop-ups/out of WCHD per date
- Nevada State Business License
- Menu items and price list (must be submitted by May 15th). Accurate menu showing ALL items to be sold required for vendor layouts. We cannot guarantee you will not be placed next to another vendor selling the same product if an accurate menu is not submitted.
NOTE: If you are applying from out of State or not in Washoe County, you will need a Washoe County Health permit to operate (required no later than 60 days prior to first approved event date, deadline April 5), Washoe County Health Dept approved commissary/restaurant, register with State of Nevada Dept of Taxation for Sales Taxes and City of Reno Temp License paid $25 per date or Annual License and NV State Business License all set up prior to April 15, City/County penalty fees may apply after this date.
